Casablanca Media Publishing founder Ed Glinert dies

Like many in the music industry, I have been saddened and shocked by the news of the sudden passing of Edmund Glinert, founder of Canada's largest independent music publishing house, Casablanca Media Publishing.

US House of Representatives passes the TICKET Act to regulate concert ticket prices

The United States House of Representatives passed the Transparency In Charges for Key Events Ticketing Act or TICKET Act, which will "require sellers of event tickets to disclose comprehensive information to consumers about ticket prices and related fees, and for other purposes."
