the GRD starting to get sexy? If judged by the attendance at the
January 29 Midem session aimed at informing the music community about
the latest developments regarding this project, the answer is yes.
The Global Repertoire Database is the holy grail that will allow the
music industry to jump into the digital world with the tool that will

Apple Music encourages ISNI submissions

Apple Music is encouraging the submission of International Standard Name Identifiers (ISNIs) as part of its standard content delivery workflows.

The ISNI International Agency (ISNI-IA) said Apple informed its label partners and other music sector organisations about the decision. IFPI’s Official MENA Chart highlights the most popular streamed songs in the region

The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry has launched the inaugural weekly Official MENA Chart, which was topped by the track 'Calm Down' by Nigerian artist Rema, released by Universal Music Group.
