SACEM’s Tronc sees “huge potential growth from streaming”

French authors' society SACEM collected EUR810 million in 2013, up 1.7% on the previous year, according to estimates unveiled in Cannes on Feb. 1.

Overall, SACEM CEO Jean-Noel Tronc said during a press conference in Cannes at Midem that 2013 was characterized by an increase in royalties from concerts, background music and streaming.

BMI unveils new Royalty Dashboard

BMI has launched a new Royalty Dashboard as part of the US music rights society's "broader growth plan to enhance its overall affiliate customer service experience."

Warner Chappell Music re-ups with ICE

Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has renewed and expanded its partnership with digital licensing hub ICE. As part of the new agreement, WCM will move all online processing from other European digital licensing administration partners to ICE.
