IFPI ‘Music Listening’ report shows all demographics embrace music streaming

Pophouse acquires 75% of Avicii’s master recordings and publishing rights

Stockholm-based company Pophouse Entertainment has acquired a 75% ownership in the master recordings and publishing rights of the late Tim Bergling a.k.a. DJ and electronic music artist Avicii, in an agreement with his family and estate.

Amazon’s Epix rebrands as MGM+

Epix has been rebranded as MGM+, as part of a relaunch set for January 15, 2023 coordinated by the cable network and streaming service new owner Amazon.

The service was previously owned by Viacom, Lionsgate and MGM, and the Hollywood studio bought the other partner's shares in Epix five years ago. Earlier this year, Amazon became the owner of the studio, its catalogue and assets such as Epix.
