Boomplay licensing deal with Merlin sends indie repertoire to Africa

SACEM drops its administration fee applied to online rights to 7% in 2026

France's rights society SACEM has disclosed that it will be applying a lower commission rate of 7% to online rights in 2026, down from 8% two years ago. Creative Industries News understand that SACEM's admin rate for online royalties has dropped by three percentage points in 10 years. In 2016, the rate was of 10%. IMRO expands partnership with Audoo
