SOCAN’s Jeff King named chair of data body DDEX

Warner Chappell Music re-ups with ICE

Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has renewed and expanded its partnership with digital licensing hub ICE. As part of the new agreement, WCM will move all online processing from other European digital licensing administration partners to ICE.

WCM disclosed that the decision follows "a thorough 10-month review, assessing both existing providers and new entrants to the market to identify the solution that will best serve WCM’s songwriters, composers and producers."

Global Music Rights settles case with Vermont Broadcast Associates

US music rights society Global Music Rights — established in 2013 by artist manager and entrepreneur Irving Azoff — and Vermont Broadcast Associates have reached an agreement to settle GMR’s copyright infringement lawsuit against VBA.
