Japanese painter Kazuhiko Fukuoji and Spanish screenwriter, director, illustrator, and children’s author Ángeles González-Sinde Reig have been elected Vice-Presidents of CISAC, the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers.

The two creators were elected by the CISAC General Assembly, held in Mexico City on 1 June. They replace Chinese film director Jia Zhang-Ke and Spanish visual artist Miquel Barceló who did not seek re-election.

Over 100 authors societies from five continents will convene in Mexico on June 1 for the General Assembly of CISAC, the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers.
