British record labels association the BPI has appointed Hailey Willington to the newly-created post of BPI Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager.

Univeral Music Group's classical music label Deutsche Grammophon has signed Joana Mallwitz, the Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Designate of the Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra for the 2023-24 season, to an exclusive recording agreement. For the past five years, she was the General Music Director of the Staatstheater Nürnberg.
