Warner Chappell Production Music unveils new logo and website

Warner Chappell Production Music (WCPM) has unveiled a new logo and website​, as part of the rebranding of Warner Chappell's music production arm​. ​The new logo borrows from the recently redesigned logo of Warner ​Chappell.

Kobalt plans to raise $266.5m by collateralising music royalties

Music publishing and asset management company Kobalt Music Group plans to raise $266.5 million by issuing a class of notes through Kobalt Music Assets and collateralising the transaction with royalties from a music catalogue of over 5,000 songs from artists and songwriters such as AJR, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Busta Rhymes, and Jessie J.

BMG signs American band New Kids on the Block to a global recording agreement

American band New Kids on the Block have signed a new global recordings agreement with BMG to release their first new studio album in more than a decade.

In a collective statement, the group said, “We’re super excited to partner with our new label home BMG. We promise 2024 is going to be a big year for NKOTB and our blockheads. News/Media Alliance urges US Copyright Office to adopt the proposed rules on group registration of online content
