Muserk to collect US mechanical and performance rights for India’s IPRS

Muserk has inked a partnership with the Indian Performing Right Society Limited (IPRS) that will see the global music rights administrator collect mechanical and performing rights in the USA on behalf of the Indian society. Additionally, Muserk will also collect mechanical and performing rights from Apple Music in Russia (FSU) for IPRS.

The UK’s PPL distributed £14.7 million in international royalties in Q3 2022

British neighbouring rights society PPL has paid £14.7 million (€16.86) as part of its Q3 2022 distribution of international revenue to more than 33,000 performers and recording rights holders, either as direct members of PPL or indirectly through other collective management organisations (CMOs).

PRS for Music launches new portal with metadata from over two million works

PRS for Music has launched a new online portal that provides access to songwriter and composer credits alongside its critical links between works and recordings identifiers.
