NSAI board adopts resolution recognising BMG CEO Hartwig Masuch ‘for his actions to value songwriters’

The 27 member songwriters sitting on the Board of Directors of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) have unanimously adopted a special resolution to recognise BMG CEO Hartwig Masuch for "both his philosophy and actions to value songwriters."

France’s recorded music market was up 8.2% to €364.4m in the first half of 2022

The French recorded music market posted revenues of €364.4 million in the first half of the year, up 8.2% compared to the same period the year before, according to statistics published by trade organisation SNEP.

Utopia Music-owned Sentric Music Group expands its A&R team in the US

Royalty management services company Sentric Music Group, part of Swiss-based Utopia Music, has hired four new executives to strengthen its A&R team in the United States — Matt DuFour, Carlos Escalona Cruz, Kebu Commissiong and Lou Plaia.
