Lynn Goldsmith challenges Andy Warhol Foundation’s petition on fair use before the US Supreme Court

Photographer Lynn Goldsmith has filed a brief with the US Supreme Court in opposition to an appeal filed by the Andy Warhol Foundation with the Supreme Court regarding the use of Goldsmith's photographs of Prince use by the late Andy Warhol for a series of silkscreens works.

Netflix drops lawsuit against the creators of ‘The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical’

Netflix has filed in federal district court documents confirming that it has dropped its copyright lawsuit against the creators of 'The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical'. The two parties have reached a settlement, the terms of which have not been disclosed.

The filing states that the case has been dismissed "with prejudice," which means that it cannot be brought again, according to Reuters, citing a person familiar with the matter.

Warner Music Group sues Bang Energy

Warner Music Group has joined the other two major companies in suing energy drink brand Bang Energy and its CEO Jack Owoc for using the company's repertoire without authorisation or remuneration.

WMG's lawsuit, filed in Florida Southern District Court follows similar action previously taken by Sony Music Entertainment and Universal Music Group. WMG accuses Bang Energy to have used its repertoire in a series of snap videos to promote the brand.
