APRA AMCOS reports record revenues for Australasia, up 21.6% to A$616.5 million

Australasian music rights management society APRA AMCOS posted record income for the 2021-22 financial year, with gross revenue of A$616.5 million (€395m), a 21.6% increase on the previous year’s A$506.9m.

Net distributable revenue also increased by more than 20% to A$534.3m, exceeding the half-billion mark for the first time and beating 2020-21’s A$442.6m of royalties earned on behalf of songwriters, publishers, affiliated societies and other rights holders.
