Copyright Office names Miriam DeChant Associate Register of Copyrights and Dir. of Public Information and Education

Miriam DeChant has been appointed Associate Register of Copyrights and Director of Public Information and Education (PIE) at the US Copyright Office.

DeChant will direct PIE, which provides information about copyright law and practices to the public, implements the Copyright Office’s communications plan, and organises educational and outreach programs. DeChant is an expert copyright attorney and will serve as one of four legal advisors to the Register of Copyrights.

Spanish police takes action against IPTV service TVMucho/Teeveeing
