Music metaverse platform Pixelynx has named Kimberly Knoller to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer. In her new role, Knoller oversees all marketing strategy and execution for Pixelynx and its newly unveiled first game, 'Elynxir', due to be launched later this year.

Listed music companies’ market cap up 2.4% to $217.5bn in Q2 2024 — report

Music industry listed companies had a combined market capitalisation of $217.5 billion at the end of June 2024, up 2.4% compared with $212.4bn at the start of April and up 11.9% compared to $194.2bn at the beginning of the year, according to the Omdia's Music Industry Sharewatch, 2Q24. The combined market cap of the 28 companies tracked by Omdia ended June at $217.5bn.

Beatport teams up with fraud detection company Beatdapp Software to combat fraudulent stream manipulation

DJ-centric platform Beatport has joined forces with fraud detection specialist Beatdapp Software "to ensure the authenticity of every stream on Beatport’s platform while eradicating fraudulent activities."
