Reservoir inks deal with Marley Marl

NASDAQ-listed music company Reservoir Media has acquired a stake in the publishing catalogue of hip-hop producer Marlon Williams, professionally known as Marley Marl.

The deal — the terms of which have not been disclosed — was brokered by Faith Newman, Reservoir's Executive Vice President of A&R and Catalogue Development. It includes the album 'Mama Said Knock You Out' performed by LL Cool J.
