Scott Williams promoted to the position of President of Downtown-owned CD Baby

Downtown Music Holdings has promoted Scott Williams to the position of President of CD Baby, the distribution company for independent artists, and Soundrop, a low-cost music distribution service.

Williams previously served as Chief Technology Officer of CD Baby. Based in Portland, Oregon, he reports to Andrew Bergman, CEO of Downtown Music Holdings. Kobalt re-signs Tash Sultana to a global publishing administration agreement

Kobalt has re-signed songwriter and singer Tash Sultana to a worldwide publishing administration agreement. The deal includes global synch and creative services for future songs.
