META, a self described "small business operating in the immersive and experiential technology industry since 2010," has filed a lawsuit the Southern District of New York against Facebook's parent company Meta Platforms.

Warner Chappell Music, the music publishing division of Warner Music Group, has entered into an agreement with Defient, a web3 entertainment incubator for the next generation of creativity, covering blockchain projects, among others.

WCM said it was "a first-of-its-kind" partnership that will "empower WCM’s songwriters and producers to explore new opportunities and unlock more value by engaging the web3 space and leveraging blockchain technology."

NetEase Cloud Music renews licensing agreement with Japan’s Avex

China's music streaming service NetEase Cloud Music has renewed its licensing agreement with Japanese entertainment company Avex, granting NetEase Cloud Music access to Avex's music catalogue in China.

According to NetEase, both parties will collaborate "to promote the presence of prominent and fan-favorite J-pop artists and content" and "utilise their advantages to unlock more opportunities and bring fans closer."
