Geoff Taylor will leave the BPI in 2023

Geoff Taylor, the Chief Executive Officer of the BPI, has announced his decision to leave the British record label's trade body in 2023, and move to "a more directly commercial role."

Bucks Music Group appoints Jen Moss as a Senior Sync executive in London

British independent music publishing company Bucks Music Group has appointed Jen Moss as a Senior Sync executive. Based in London, she reports to Bucks’ Head of Sync Jonathan Tester.

Moss started her career in the sync department at Boosey & Hawkes before moving to Warner Music UK, where she set up an internal film music supervision department, At Bucks, she will be in charge of creative searches and licensing of the Bucks Music catalogue to film clients.

BMG acquires the recording catalogue of German band Fools Garden

BMG has acquired the catalogue of recordings from German pop-rock band Fools Garden. Terms of the transaction was not disclosed.

The agreement includes the sound recordings of all of the band’s albums released between 1991 and 2003 including 'Fool’s Garden' (1991), 'Once In A Blue Moon' (1993), 'Dish Of The Day' (1995), 'Go And Ask Peggy For The Principal Thing' (1997), 'For Sale' (2000) and '25 Miles To Kissimmee' (2003)
