Believe appoints Béatrice Dumurgier to the newly created position of COO

Paris-listed global music company Believe has named Béatrice Dumurgier as the Group’s Chief Operating Officer.

Based in Paris, she reports to Denis Ladegaillerie, Founder and CEO of Believe. In this newly created position, Dumurgier will "lead Believe’s end-to-end execution while being a core contributor of the Group’s global strategy."

Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford have sold their publishing and recorded music catalogues as well as the publishing and recorded music catalogue from their years in the band Genesis to independent music company Concord.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. "This announcement reaffirms that Concord is the natural home for artists and songwriters seeking continued focus on their extraordinary legacies," said the company is a statement.
