Mr. Probz and his company Left Lane have accused Sony Music Entertainment and Ultra Records of withholding royalties

Dutch artist and producer Dennis Stehr, a.k.a. Mr. Probz, and his company Left Lane B.V. have accused Sony Music Entertainment (SME) and its subsidiary Ultra Records of withholding royalties for years in a summons filed in Amsterdam.

Stehr and Left Lane signed a license agreement with SME and Ultra in 2013. The agreement included an ’at source’ provision. The lawsuit states that SME deducted administration and distribution fees from Stehr's royalties as they were passed through the company'...

Malaysia court delivers landmark ruling in sports and entertainment piracy case

The High Court of Kuala Lumpur has ruled that it was illegal for commercial premises to show sports and entertainment content without having the proper licensed.

The High Court's decision follows legal action taken by satellite delivery platform Astro, which argued that the 42 East Pub and Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur was showing content, including Premier League football, from the platform without having a commercial license.

Two Russian nationals Anton Napolsky and Valeriia Ermakova were charged by a Federal Court in Brooklyn, with criminal copyright infringement, wire fraud and money laundering for operating Z-Library, an online ebook piracy website.
