Tencent Holdings becomes Ubisoft Entertainment’s largest shareholder

China's tech company Tencent Holdings has raised its stake in Ubisoft Entertainment to become the French game studio's largest shareholder with 11% of the shares.

The deal values the company, which produces games such as 'Assassin's Creed' and 'Tom Clancy's' franchises, at about $10 billion. Hong Kong-listed Tencent has an option to raise its stake to 17%.

The UK’s CMA completes its market study into music and streaming services without calling for a full market investigation

The UK's Competition & Markets Authority (CMA) has concluded its market study into music and streaming services by deciding not to undertake a full market investigation, considering that the outcomes from streaming "are good for consumers."
