US House passes law forcing TikTok to change ownership or get banned in the US

The US House of Representatives has passed legislation on April 20 that could ban TikTok in the United States unless the short-format app does changes ownership within a timeframe of nine months, that could be extended to twelve in there are meaningful discussions with a buyer.
