Italian government shuts down ItsArt, dubbed the ‘Netflix of Italian culture’

ItsArt, the platform created during the Covid Lockdown by the Draghi government to provide a window to Italian culture, has been put into liquidation on December 29, 2022 by the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CPD), its main shareholder.

Universal Music Group has addressed concerns regarding the proposed $775 million acquisition of independent music company Downtown Music by offering an unspecified remedy to the European Commission.
