ACS, DACS and Ivor Braka reached settlement on artist’s resale right

British visual artists' societies Artists’ Collecting Society (ACS) and the Design and Artists Copyright Society (DACS) have reached a settlement with art dealer Ivor Braka Limited, following a legal dispute over compliance with the UK's artist's resale right (ARR) legislation.

Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. In a statement, ACS, DACS and Ivor Braka Limited said they "look forward to working together to provide artists with the royalties to which they are entitled."

Nvidia unveils AI-powered tool Picasso trained with licensed content from Getty Images, Shutterstock and Adobe

Nvidia Corp has unveiled an AI-powered content generator named Picasso, and unlike other similar AI tools, this one will be trained with copyrighted works licensed from the likes of Getty Images, Adobe and Shutterstock.
