Budde Music’s Phrased Differently joins digital music licensing agency IMPEL

Phrased Differently, the music publishing unit part of Budde Music group of companies, has joined IMPEL, the digital music licensing agency for independent music publishers.

The agreement with Phrased Differently includes Budde Music UK, following the creation of a joint venture between the German company and the London-based publisher in 2020.

Warner Chappell Music re-ups with ICE

Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has renewed and expanded its partnership with digital licensing hub ICE. As part of the new agreement, WCM will move all online processing from other European digital licensing administration partners to ICE.

WCM disclosed that the decision follows "a thorough 10-month review, assessing both existing providers and new entrants to the market to identify the solution that will best serve WCM’s songwriters, composers and producers."

Global Music Rights settles case with Vermont Broadcast Associates
