SABAM’s 2022 collections were up 23% to €163.1m with live music still recovering

Brussels-based multi-repertoire rights society SABAM has distributed €115.1 million in 2022 to authors, composers and publishers, up +6% compares to the previous year. Global Music Rights (GMR) has announced leadership changes with the elevation of the LA-based US music rights society Chief Business Officer Jeff Toig to the position of CEO while co-Founder and CEO Randy Grimmett becomes Executive Chairman.
