Reservoir Media and PopArabia sign joint venture agreement with Saudi Arabian independent hip-hop label Mashrex

NASDAQ-listed independent music company Reservoir Media, in conjunction with PopArabia have set up a new joint venture with Saudi Arabian independent hip-hop label Mashrex.

North Carolina Congresswoman Deborah Ross has introduced the Protect Working Musicians Act of 2023, a legislation that will "empower independent music creator owners to collectively negotiate with dominant online platforms regarding the terms on which their music may be distributed."
