French neighbouring rights society SCPP has collected €86.6 million in 2022, up 9% over 2021, and -2.4% compared to 2019 (€88.4 million), according to figures released by the Paris-based organsiation during its Annual general meeting.
The increase in collections between 2021 and 2022 was "mainly due to a return to a level of equitable remuneration collections close to that of 2019," said the society.
