BMG acquires recording rights from Jet

BMG has acquired the recordings catalogue of Australian rock band Jet, in a deal that includes Australian and New Zealand rights to the band’s first two albums, 'Get Born' and 'Shine On', and the global royalty stream for these albums in perpetuity, as well as global rights to their third album 'Shaka Rock'.

IFPI launches four new charts covering Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE and North Africa

Recorded music trade organisation the IFPI has launched four new streaming-based covering countries across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. In each country it will be the first time ever that official rankings are being made available.
