NIVA celebrates the success of independent venues at its second annual conference

Independent music company Bella Figura Music has acquired the publishing catalogue of Jonny Pierce, the songwriter, vocalist and creative force behind US rock band The Drums. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed. The acquisition covers Pierce’s publishing interests in songs written for The Drums covering releases up to and including 'Encyclopedia', released in 2014. Kobalt inks partnership with UK publishing company Geo Music Group

Independent music publisher Kobalt has entered into a new partnership with London-based publishing company Geo Music Group, in a deal that encompasses funding for international songwriters and worldwide administration services.
