Paris appeals court dismisses SoundExchange’s claims against French neighbouring rights societies

The Court of Appeal in Paris has rejected the claims against French neighboring rights colelctive management organisations — ADAMI, SPEDIDAM, SCPP, SPPF, SCPA and SPRE — issued by Washington, DC-based society SoundExchange and US union's AFM & SAG-ACTRA Intellectual Property Rights Distribution Fund.

The Boards of Directors of French neighbouring rights societies ADAMI and SCPP have approved the creation of a joint tool for data referencing and royalties' distribution.
