Paul Langworthy named Chief Revenue Officer at licensing platform Songtradr

Songtradr has appointed Paul Langworthy as the music licensing company's Chief Revenue Officer. Based in London, he reports directly to Songtradr CEO Paul Wiltshire.

In his new role, he will oversee revenue growth and new market ventures, develop sales strategies, and manage the global sales organisation across the company's portfolio of integrated brands and technologies. "[Langworthy's] appointment comes amid significant worldwide growth for Songtradr," said the company.

ByteDance, the Chinese parent company of TikTok and Douyin, is restructuring its video games unit Nuverse, and plans to "retreat from mainstream video games," according to Reuters, citing "four people familiar with the matter." Global SVoD subscriptions will increase by 321 million between 2023 and 2029 to reach 1.79 billion, up 21.7%, and will be showing continued growth, according to estimates from Digital TV Research.
