Believe calls for music streaming services to remunerate all artists equally regardless of their stage of development

Euronext Paris-listed music company Believe has called on "the whole music industry to take a responsible approach in building a new value sharing model for streaming that benefits all artists."

The Paris-based company said such approach would provide the foundation for "a fair, diverse and balanced artist market," according to a statement. In particular, the company opposes the notion that up-and-coming artists should be compensated less by streaming services than more establisehd artists.
