French recorded music market up 9.4% to €397 million in the first half of 2023

The French recorded music market posted revenue of €397 million in the first half of 2023, up 9.4% compared to the same period a year before, according to .figures unveiled by trade organisation SNEP.

Canal+’s offer for SA’s MultiChoice considered ‘fair and reasonable’

MultiChoice has concluded that the offer made by Vivendi-owned media group Canal+ to acquire the shares it does not already own in the South African pay TV service was "fair and reasonable," according to an independent board review made by MultiChoice and Standard Bank.
