France’s broadcasting authority ARCOM renews contract with Yacast to monitor music quotas on radio stations

Following a call for tenders, French broadcasting authority ARCOM has renewed the contract with data monitoring company Yacast to monitor radio stations and provide the regulator with data about French-speaking songs on radio.

The service covers the monitoring of radio programmes, the identification of musical titles, the qualification of works according to the main language in which the songs are sung, the status of new talent and new production.

RyteBox acquires SR1 from Exactuals

Cloud-based music rights and royalties administration platform RyteBox has acquired SR1, a royalty calculation suite, from Exactuals, the rights management subsidiary of City National Bank. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
