10K Projects promotes Blake Brown-Grakal to General Counsel; Max Gore joins as CFO

Independent music company 10K Projects has promoted Blake Brown-Grakal to General Counsel, while Samuel Cohen has been promoted to the newly created position of General Manager and Max Gore has been named Chief Financial Officer.
All three executives will be based in 10K’s Los Angeles headquarters and report to Founder and CEO Elliot Grainge and co-Presidents Zach Friedman and Tony Talamo.

ORCA report finds indie labels generate ‘tangible value and income for artists’

A report based on data from nine prominent independent labels found that independent recorded music companies generate "tangible value and income for artists through long-term partnerships and investment."
