LyricFind acquires Rotor Videos

Lyrics licensing platform LyricFind has acquired Belfast-based video production solutions' company Rotor Videos. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The Rotor Videos team will continue to be led by Rotor’s Founder & CEO Diarmuid Moloney, who will report to LyricFind’s Founder & CEO Darryl Ballantyne. LyricFind said the acquisition strengthens its "portfolio of lyric-based solutions, and expands on LyricFind’s recent push into the video creation market."

Most OTT viewers use the ad-supported tiers of video streaming services in the US

The penetration of subscription over-the-top (OTT) ad-supported services is growing in the USA, according to estimates from marketing and research company eMarketer.

The most popular of all paid ad-supported services is Amazon Prime Video, for which eight out of ten subscribers choses to use the ad-supported tier, according to eMarketer's February 2024 forecast.
