Hipgnosis Songs Fund Ltd reported revenue down 26.8% to $63.2m for the six months ending September 30, 2023

London-listed music assets company Hipgnosis Songs Fund Limited has posted gross revenue for the six months ending September 30, 2023 of $63.2 million, down 26.8% from the same period a year before, when revenues reached $86.4 million. Net revenue from continuing operations fell to $54.0m against $76.8m for the same period a year ago. The European Commission is likely to clear the $775 million acquisition of Downtown Music Holdings by Universal Music Group after UMG offered remedies, according to a report from Reuters, citing "people with direct knowledge of the matter."
