BMG CEO Thomas Coesfeld will replace Thomas Rabe as Chairman and CEO of Bertelsmann, effective January 1, 2027

The Supervisory Board of German media and entertainment conglomerate Bertelsmann has announced a leadership change atop the company, with current Chairman and CEO Thomas Rabe stepping down at the end of his contract on December 31, 2026, after 15 years in the position, to be replaced by Thomas Coesfeld, the current CEO of music division BMG.

Gregg Nadel promoted to President of A&R at Warner Records Group

Gregg Nadel has been promoted to the newly created central role of President of A&R at Warner Records Group. Based in Los Angeles, he reports to Warner Records Group CEO & Co-Chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck.

Ally Nicholas signs global recording agreement with Position Music

Independent music company Position Music has signed singer, songwriter and artist Ally Nicholas to a global label deal. A Chicago native, Nicholas started recording songs in New York before relocating to Los Angeles where she worked with collaborator Diego Ferrera, Nicholas has amassed over 20 million streams with only a few singles.
