US publishers urge court to dismiss Internet Archive’s appeal in book digitisation case

The American book publishers involved in the lawsuit against the Internet Archive (IA) have filed a 75-page motion with the Second Circuit court of appeals asking the court to uphold the March 2023 decision from Judge John G. Koeltl from the US District Court for the Southern District of New York who granted summary judgment in favor of publishers, finding Internet Archive liable for copyright infringement.
