Variety will launch two new Top 10 charts powered by Luminate covering TV shows and films’ streaming viewership

Film and TV industry's trade publication Variety and data company Luminate, are partnering on a data project and will launch on March 24 two new weekly top 10 charts, one covering original TV programmes and the other, films produced for streaming platforms.

The TV and film charts will be published weekly on Variety.com and data from Luminate will be incorporated into other Variety platforms as well as Variety’s reporting on TV ratings and audience measurement. The two partners said the list...

Soundmouse by Orfium wins process to be the official music reporting partner for South Korea’s broadcasters and CMOs

Following a selection process and a testing and audit period, Soundmouse by Orfium has been selected by the South Korean Broadcast Music Identifying System (BROMIS) as the official music reporting partner for broadcasters in the country.

IPO, PPL and PRS for Music put out new metadata educational tool Get Paid Guide

The UK's Intellectual Property Office (IPO), in partnership with British music rights societies PPL and PRS for Music, has unveiled a new 'Get Paid Guide', a step-by-step guide on registering and managing metadata.
