ECAD had record collections of R$1.63bn (€280m) in 2023, a 17% uptake on 2022

ECAD, the umbrella organisation collecting music rights in Brazil, has collected a total of R$1.63 billion (€280m), an 17% growth compared to 2022 and a record number for the organisation. Distributions reached R$1.39bn in 2023, a 13% growth compared to the previous year.

IMRO renews its partnership with ICE and prepares for monthly royalty distributions

The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) has extended its agreement with digital music licensing hub ICE (International Copyright Enterprise) over a new multi-year period.
