California Senate passes bill AB 2602 protecting performers from the unauthorised use of AI-generated replicas

The California Senate has passed on August 27, by 37 to 1 votes, bill AB 2602 that is designed to protect performers from unauthorised AI replication by requiring employers to obtain the authorisation of performers if they plan to create and use AI-generated digital replicas of the performers. Germany plans investment quotas for video streaming platforms and broadcasters
