Edgar Bronfman Jr. pulls out from Paramount Global’s acquisition bid

Former Warner Music Group CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr. has withdrawn his $6 billion proposal to acquire National Amusements, the controlling company of Paramount Global, owned by Shari Redstone. Bronfman made a last minute proposal at $4.3bn, which included $2.4bn in debt and equity for National Amusements and a $1.5bn contribution to Paramount’s balance sheet.
