Warner Music Group renews multi-year global licensing deal with Meta — report

Warner Music Group (WMG) has renewed its multiyear worldwide licensing agreement with Meta Platforms, according to a report from Billboard. The new deal covers both WMG’s recorded music and Warner Chappell's publishing catalogues. The agreement will cover the use of WMG's music across all of Meta’s platforms — Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Horizon and Threads, as well as WhatsApp for the first time.
