Italian music industry contributed €4.32bn to the Italian economy in 2023

The Italian music industry contributed €4.32 billion to the Italian economy in 2023, according to data from the IFPI, Deloitte, SIAE, DISMA, and GFK compiled by record labels' organisation FIMI. The segment of direct contributions accounted for €3.07bn in 2023., while indirect contributions amounted to €1.24bn. Live, recorded music and copyright royalties drove the sector in 2023, according to FIMI.
