France’s neighbouring rights society SPPF collected €38.6m in 2024, up 5% y-o-y

France's neighbouring rights society SPPF, which represents independent labels, has collected €38.6 million in royalties in 2024, up 5% compared to 2023, and has distributed €33.8m, a 7% increase over 2023.
SPPF said the good results in 2024 were due to the good performance of collections from equitable remuneration and positive adjustments concerning private audio copying.
