British trade organisation the BPI has launched during the BRIT Awards the 'Don’t Let AI Steal Our Music', a sister initiative to the Make It Fair campaign, both dedicated to opposing the British government plans to weaken copyright law to benefit generative AI companies.

Music industry trade organisations IFPI, RIAA, A2IM, WIN, IMPALA, The Grammys, SAG-AFTRA and the Human Artistry Campaign have unveiled a unified approach to voluntary track labeling to help music user distinguish between “AI-Generated” and “AI-Assisted" sound recordings.
