NMPA will honour Kacey Musgraves and Rhett Akins at its 2025 annual meeting in New York June 11

The National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) will honour US songwriter and artist Kacey Musgraves (pictured, above) with the NMPA Songwriter Icon award during the organisation's 2025 annual meeting, taking place at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall on June 11.

Music publishing company Kobalt has secured a new publishing partnership with India-based independent distribution and services platform Madverse Music.
